Alfa Laval to acquire Swedish tank cleaning gear specialist Scanjet

Alfa Laval has signed an settlement to accumulate Scanjet, a global supplier of tank cleaning gear and options for marine, offshore and industrial applications.

Scanjet’s clever tank administration solutions reduce the water utilization and vitality consumption linked with tank cleansing. The company employs round a hundred and fifty people, has factories in Sweden, Poland and Indonesia, and has an annual turnover of about SEK300 million.
“Scanjet’s well-known and market-leading options for cargo tanks complement our current Framo cargo pumping options for cargo handling. This gives us the power to optimize tank administration for our customers with an ambition to reduce their water and gasoline consumption and ultimately their CO2 footprint,” says Sameer Kalra, president of Alfa Laval’s Marine Division.
