Founded in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1946, Waukesha Bearings opened its Antigo manufacturing facility in May 1972, with a staff of 3 full-time staff. In 2019, the plant expanded to 100,000 sq ft of manufacturing space and now employs a hundred and twenty folks. The manufacturing area was added to accommodate manufacturing for marine bearing techniques and other new tasks awarded to the corporate.
“We are pleased with our success and progress to turn into a supplier of precision bearings to a number of the largest multi-national corporations from our small-town, Northern Wisconsin location,” said Mark Greenlund, plant supervisor.
