With this role growth, Julie Ballard, challenge engineering manager, and Lukas Widhalm, software engineering supervisor, are reporting to Bates.
After becoming a member of KSB in 2017, Bates served as southeastern regional supervisor before becoming the water market area director of gross sales in September 2020. Prior to KSB, Bates held positions in sales management/operations and enterprise development throughout the North American industrial and municipal water market.
KSB Inc managing director Luis Maturana has also taken on additional obligations as the model new regional government officer for the North America Region, a position previously held by Wolfgang Demmler who’s returning to the head office in Frankenthal, Germany.
