Sundyne appoints new regional gross sales manager for North and Latin America

Alton Smith has joined Sundyne as regional gross sales manager for North and Latin America, specializing in the chemical and industrial (C&I) markets.

In his new role, Smith will strengthen buyer facing initiatives and work with Sundyne’s inner groups to expand throughout the C&I area.
Smith comes to Sundyne with more than 30 years of expertise in promoting extremely engineered gear and repair options to the downstream and midstream sectors. He has labored extensively with EPCs, OEMs and end customers within the renewable power, oil & gasoline, petrochemical, chemical and energy era markets.
Prior to Sundyne, Smith served as vice president of sales for Fluid Sealing International, where he developed methods to strengthen & develop distributor gross sales, whereas also overseeing training and functions support. He beforehand served as a regional sales supervisor for EKATO Systems. Smith started his career at Flowserve Corp’s Seal Division and has also labored with midstream oil & fuel OEMs at EagleBurgmann and John Crane Inc.
