This is considered one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders so far. “Until a few years ago, the usage of LNG as a marine gasoline was restricted to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we at the second are seeing a sharp increase in gas pump orders for deep sea vessels similar to container ships and automotive carriers,” mentioned Johnny Houmann, chief gross sales officer at Svanehøj. “We were chosen because the supplier of fuel pump systems for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21.
