ASME “N” certification first for Hayward Tyler

Hayward Tyler Inc has been issued with the first ASME “N” Certificate of Authorization masking Section III, Division 5 Class A and B vessels, pumps, valves and piping techniques.
The Vermont, USA-based company has been taking part in the improvement of advanced nuclear reactors since 2016, together with working with builders on pumps and gear for top temperature, salt-based, sodium-based and gas-cooled reactors.
In pressure gauge 10 bar to the “N” certificates, Hayward Tyler also had revisions approved for its “NS” and “NPT” certifications to incorporate Class A and B fabrication.
“This is a big milestone for Hayward Tyler solidifying our commitment to the advancement of technologies that provide clear vitality to tens of millions of homes,” stated Jeff Belotti, director of Nuclear Business Development at Hayward Tyler. “The expansion of our ASME and nuclear packages follows a practice of getting ready Hayward Tyler to serve industry’s most difficult applications using probably the most well-regarded design and quality requirements.”
