Water sector leaders, including academia, know-how providers, commerce associations and NGOs, are partnering in the new consortium to speed up solutions to the world’s critical water and sustainability challenges.
Located on the banks of the Anacostia River, the Reservoir Center for Water Solutions will function a worldwide collaboration hub to advance breakthrough water options and improvements.
The Reservoir Center is designed to strengthen collaboration among the many various set of stakeholders, from DC and beyond, who work collectively towards fixing international water challenges. The Center’s 33 companions – including Reservoir sponsor Xylem – will convey collectively their sources, data and partnerships to drive progress.
Through innovation packages, training and mentoring, and group outreach, the Reservoir Center aims to create a vibrant hub for concepts and motion on challenges like water shortage, resilience and water affordability.
“Establishing the Reservoir Center is a commitment to strengthening collaboration throughout the water sector, and to strengthening water’s voice past it,” stated Patrick Decker, president and CEO of Xylem. “The Center will be a hub for these thinking about helping solve the world’s water challenges to come back together, deepen relationships, break down limitations and fast-track solutions. It’s a spot where, together, we can write the next chapter for water and proceed our work towards a more sustainable world.”
Xylem introduced earlier this yr that its new headquarters shall be co-located with the Reservoir Center for Water Solutions.
