Alton Smith has joined Sundyne as regional gross sales manager for North and Latin America, specializing in the chemical and industrial (C&I) markets.

In his new position, Smith will strengthen customer facing initiatives and work with Sundyne’s internal teams to broaden across the C&I house.
Smith comes to Sundyne with more than 30 years of experience in selling extremely engineered gear and repair options to the downstream and midstream sectors. He has worked extensively with EPCs, OEMs and finish users in the renewable energy, oil & fuel, petrochemical, chemical and power generation markets.
Prior to Sundyne, Smith served as vice chairman of sales for Fluid Sealing International, where he developed methods to strengthen & grow distributor gross sales, whereas also overseeing training and functions assist. He previously served as a regional gross sales supervisor for EKATO Systems. Smith began his career at Flowserve Corp’s Seal Division and has additionally worked with midstream oil & gas OEMs at EagleBurgmann and John Crane Inc.
