Orders for dual-fuel LNG vessels broke all records in 2021 with a total of 240 ships globally. That is more than the previous four years mixed. And development appears set to continue unabated in 2022.
According to data from classification society DNV, orders for 56 dual-fuel LNG vessels have been placed in January and February.This change in demand has created fairly a buzz at Svanehøj. The Danish marine pump specialist quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell gasoline pumps in 2021, and there are many indications that gross sales may enhance even further in 2022.
Svanehøj has simply secured an order for gas pump methods for 15 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7,000 TEU), that are to be built at Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding.
